Field Supervisors
At South Texas Transition to Teaching ACP-LLC our instructors have decades of teaching experience in their contents, in teacher preparation including mentoring and induction and professional development. Our field supervisors have first hand knowledge and years of experience to compliment the individual mentoring each students receives.

Emma Brown

Field Supervisor / Instructor

Ms. Brown is a retired lifelong educator with over 35 years experience as an elementary and middle school teacher with a specific interest in ESL and Bilingual Instruction and teaching. She has served in several teacher and community organizations and is still currently involved as an instructor and advisor with teacher preparation.  Ms. Brown works as a Field Supervisor and Instructor with South Texas Transition to Teaching-ACP, LLC

  

Olga Balli Aleman, M.Ed.

Ms. Aleman is also a life long educator having taught for over 25 years in the Rio Grande Valley. Mrs. Aleman holds a bachelors degree in education and a masters degree in bilingual and ESL education with special certificate as a Special Education Diagnostician.  She has held positions from classroom teacher to district wide special education diagnostician and has taught as a lecturer at the University of Texas Pan American.  Ms. Aleman serves as a Field Supervisor and Instructor with South Texas Transition to Teaching-ACP, LLC.

  

Carmen P. Ueckert

Ms. Ueckert has over 29 years of classroom instruction with an emphasis in early childhood/elementary instruction. She holds a bachelors degree in education with a bilingual endorsement from The University of Texas-Pan American.  Ms. Ueckert works as a Field Supervisor and Instructor with South Texas Transition to Teaching-ACP, LLC.

  

Camilo Martinez, M.Ed.

Mr. Martinez is a retired school administrator with over 28 successful years of teaching and administrative experience from the classroom setting to central office administration in the mid and upper valley. Mr. Martinez has held positions in administration such as Elementary Curriculum Director, Special Funds Director,  Federal Programs Supervisor and Teacher Facilitator with experience focused on special student populations. He is a field supervisor and an instructor with South Texas Transition to Teaching-ACP, LLC.

  

Jose F. Guerra, M.Ed.

Mr. Guerra is a retired educator and campus and central office administrator having spent over 30 years as an educator. He has held positions ranging from classroom teacher to assistant principal to Field Supervisor for student interns at the University of Texas Pan American. He is married to Dr. Marla M. Guerra, Superintendent of South Texas ISD who is also a lifelong educator. Mr. Guerra works as a Field Supervisor and Instructor with South Texas Transition to Teaching-ACP, LLC.

  

Hector R. Gonzalez, M.Ed.

Mr. Gonzalez is a retired teacher, former Test Coordinator/Evaluator, Bilingual Director and Principal with over 30 years of teaching and administrative experience. He is currently a School Board member for South Texas ISD, a position he has held for the last seven years. He holds a bachelors degree in elementary education from Pan American University and a masters degree from Texas A& I University in Kingsville Texas.  Mr. Gonzalez works as a Field Supervisor and Instructor with South Texas Transition to Teaching-ACP, LLC.
