Areas of Certification
We offer certification in many subject areas. However, there are many
factors to consider before choosing. During the interview process, we
advise you of the areas you are eligible for and the subject area that
gives you the best chance of being hired.
After choosing your certification area(s), you will need to immediately
sign up for the corresponding state content test (TExES or ExCET).
We will advise you of the requirements mandated by law and assist you
with coursework and classroom instruction that will help you in preparing
for the exams that will enable you to become a certified teacher in the
State of Texas.
Letter of Acceptance
School districts require a “letter of acceptance” indicating your eligibility to teach. We provide that letter once you have met program requirements. We also provide eligible candidates with a “Statement of Eligibility” required by the school districts for employment.Areas of Certification
